By repositioning the shifting linkage mechanism to beneath the floorboard, the kit widens the open space between toe and heel shifter levers, while using smaller, lightweight levers that offer full use of the floorboard. This allows for positive shifting with no binding or shifting past the shift point, which puts less stress on the linkage making it easier to find neutral. Requires front shifter bracket to install. For bikes with a center stand, only the heel shift can be used.
